Marine Insurance Seminars, Inc. is a Texas not for profit corporation and is recognized as a tax exempt public charity by the Internal Revenue Service providing continuing professional education credits for l awyers, insurance agents and brokers and insurance adjusters. In addition to the educational experience the seminar also provides a venue for personal interaction between seminar participants, seminar speakers and discussion leaders. As part of the education goals of the seminar, Marine Insurance Seminars, Inc. supports marine insurance and maritime law library development and educational program enhancements at eleven colleges and universities.
